Terms

Web Graphics by E-mail referred to as 'WGbE' is a home based business operated by Allison Lamont.

All prices are in AUD.

Prices include design time, limited modifications to the chosen design and the finished product emailed to you in the formats you have purchased.

Websites, brochures and more detailed projects will vary in price depending on the detail and design needed. See terms below regarding my generous time allowances.

Our design procedure outline:

    1. You request graphics. Please supply your full contact information with your enquiry.
    2. I ask for some details or give you further information about the specific project (e.g. banner, logo)
    3. You provide outline of what you need, including specific details that will assist me to quote accurately.
    4. I provide quote based on how long I think your design task will take to complete.
    5. You accept or decline and forward the relevant logos, images, text or project details needed.
    6. I create mockups for you to view and request your feedback.
    7. You view the mockups and provide your feedback.
    8. After the first obligation free concept, I will have a more accurate idea of the time needed to finalise your project, so quote revisions will be done at this point if needed.
    9. You send any ideas and changes
    10. I make changes requested and show you the next revision of your design.
    11. You approve or request more changes
      (this may take a few revisions - see notes below about 'reasonable time' allowance)
    12. I create final design
    13. You approve final design
    14. I issue account/invoice for payment
    15. You receive your designs by e-mail or you can also copy/save them from preview area.
    16. If you require a copy, I will make a CD for you for an additional $10.

 

PAYMENT
I accept Paymate, Paypal, Direct Bank Deposit and cheques/money orders.
Invoices are sent to you via e-mail on completion of your project.
I kindly request that you do not use the designs until payment has been made (unless otherwise arranged).
Payment plans are available to existing clients until further notice.

REASONABLE TIME AND EXTRA CHARGES
WGbE allocates 'reasonable' time' to each project. If I believe the project is not progressing within this generous time allocation, I will inform you when further charges may apply BEFORE continuing with the project.
No hidden surprises.
You are welcome to request to be charged by the hour ($30 p.h) if you prefer.
I also reserve the right to modify a quote, and I will notify you by email of the approximate change in costs.

CANCELLATION FEE
$50 administration fee for projects cancelled AFTER proceeding past Mockup Stage 1.
$50 administration fee, on top of quoted prices, if feedback requests are not attended to promptly.
$100 cancellation fee when the project has been on hold for more than three months.


Where a problem arises between myself and a client in regard to the design, price or quality of the work, I will do my best to discuss and find a mutually agreeable solution. It is sometimes difficult to create the right concept for a client, so I offer the first round of designs at no obligation for this reason.

NON-PAYMENT OF INVOICES
WgbE will obtain professional assistance from a debt collection agency for invoices that remain unpaid. Unable to pay? Just let me know and arrangements can be made.

E-MAIL CONFIRMATION
Being a virtual service, WGbE must stress that your e-mail is considered written confirmation of a project.

IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH DESIGNS
WGbE offers the option to cancel the project after the first stage mockup level if you are not happy with the quality of the mockup designs. Please notify me if you wish to cancel, so I don't annoy you with emails asking for feedback. I really appreciate honesty and if you don't like something, best to let me know. Design is personal, but honesty even if you dislike the design is respected and most welcome.

SUPPLIED IMAGES AND LOGOS
WGbE will not be responsible for checking copyright on any images supplied by the client. If images/logos/photos are supplied by client, this implies that the images are owned by the client, and permission to use them has been obtained. WGbE will not be responsible for checking copyright on any images supplied by the client.

SPELL CHECKING AND ACCURACY
Spell checking and accuracy of contact details is the responsibility of the client.

COLOUR MATCHING AND PRINTING YOUR DESIGNS.
While I will do my best to match your colour needs, I do not offer a pantone colour matching service. I am unable to control third party print environments, and as such do not offer any guarantee that your design will print exactly as it has been shown.

I will not cover, or be held responsible for problems resulting with printers. If you order your own printing, it becomes your responsibility.

In the instance where I quote and organise the printing and include it on your invoice, I will cover any problems resulting from the printing.

Please read our purchase agreement below before finalising and paying for your designs.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT.

1. WGbE (being Allison Lamont) requests that you do not use the design until the design has been purchased, unless otherwise agreed.

2. Copyright remains with WGbE until purchase is made. All concept designs are also copyrighted. Once you purchase the designs/images, you are given all copyright and can use them on your website, in printouts or display them in any way. I don't believe in keeping control of designs you have paid for.

3. Payment of invoice indicates that you are happy with the final designs, and will require no further editing. Extra editing and changes to existing designs, after payment has been made, will incur a small (very reasonable) modification fee. If the change is as result of a mistake on our behalf, WGbE will rectify the problem at no charge.  

4. An invoice will be forwarded on receiving e-mail confirmation that you are happy with the completed designs. Terms are 7-14 days. Payment in installments by request.

5. Please check your design carefully for spelling errors and layout to make sure you are happy. If you are unhappy with anything, please contact me by phone or e-mail to discuss possible solutions. SPELL-CHECKING IS ALWAYS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT. We can refer you to third party copywriters and editors if you require this service.

6. We offer several revisions and plenty of opportunity for you to check the documents before sending to the printer. Your print company is responsible for checking all artwork meets their specifications.
